To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as needed.
• Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure every shipment is delivered meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.
• Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach them as needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
• Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise the quality bar on their deliverables.
• Interview candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks.
• Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics, assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance regularly.
• Help with training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they receive necessary knowledge.
• Follow up on and resolve process‑related issues as required.
• Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
• Work with the Operations Manager to ressource the function: training needs, absence and performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics.
• Experience with data analysis.
