We are seeking an experienced Head of Pastoral Care to lead and develop pastoral provision across a group of schools in Abu Dhabi.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced pastoral professional with a strong background in student wellbeing, safeguarding and pastoral care, ideally across multiple schools or campuses.

Requirements
  • Degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
  • Significant senior-level experience leading pastoral care, student wellbeing or safeguarding within a school setting.
  • Experience overseeing pastoral provision across multiple schools or campuses is highly desirable.
  • Strong practical knowledge of safeguarding and child protection within schools.
  • Preference will be given to Emirati candidates due to local hiring needs.
  • Candidates of other nationalities should have extensive experience working in local schools and strong familiarity with Emirati students, parents, families and local cultural expectations.
  • Demonstrable experience working directly with Emirati parents and students, including handling sensitive pastoral and wellbeing matters.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple schools and with senior leadership, staff, students and families.
