Architect, design, and implement virtualization solutions using VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, and Horizon.
Plan, deploy, configure, secure, and administer VMware environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
Manage virtual infrastructure components including virtual machines, templates, vApps, clusters, resource pools, and distributed resource scheduling (DRS).
Configure and maintain virtual networking (vSwitches, distributed switches, VLANs) and storage (VMFS, NFS datastores).
Administer VMware Operations Manager (vRealize Operations) for performance monitoring and optimization.
Architect, design, and implement virtualization solutions using VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, and Horizon.
Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) solutions and build DR sites using VMware technologies.
Ensure business continuity through effective backup, replication, and recovery strategies.
Map and manage vCloud and vCenter resources to support hybrid and cloud-based environments.
Manage enterprise server hardware (HP, IBM) and storage systems (IBM, Hitachi).
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers across VMware and standalone environments.
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, ensuring optimal utilization of infrastructure resources.
Coordinate hardware replacement, upgrades, and issue resolution in case of failures.
Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services (CA), and file servers.
Manage Microsoft Exchange environments, including day-to-day operations, support, and troubleshooting.
Handle user account management, permissions, access control, and identity management.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management in line with organizational policies.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, system, and application performance issues.
Provide advanced technical support for server, storage, and application-related incidents.
Ensure all peripheral systems and dependent services are functioning effectively.
Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and availability.
Implement and enforce IT security policies, system hardening, and access control mechanisms.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security frameworks, and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate technical documentation including configurations, procedures, and system changes.
Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).
Research emerging technologies, products, and best practices to support continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure projects and services.
Support system deployment, testing, and implementation of new services.
Provide on-call support and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Educational QualificationRelevant bachelor’s degree. - in computer science, information system management, information technology or other related fields
Experience12–15-year relevant experience
