Role Summary

الأول Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is hiring a Reconciliation Officer to join the Core Processing function in Dubai. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of Nostro accounts, inter-branch transactions, and system-generated entries. You will oversee operational risk management, timely reporting, and escalation of exceptions in alignment with non-BAU protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in reconciliation, SWIFT queue management, and back-office treasury support.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily reconciliation operations including Nostro accounts, inter-branch call accounts, and customer account adjustments
  • Monitor SWIFT inbound/outbound queues and authorize entries with date/value mismatches
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to MIS and management dashboards, including intelliMATCH and iTRACs reports
  • Track unapplied credits, unclaimed accounts, and ensure all exceptions are followed up as per escalation matrices
  • Support audit-readiness through monthly reconciliation reviews, exception tracking, and risk flagging
  • Coordinate with Treasury, SSD, FCIS, TFO, and other units to resolve discrepancies across multiple internal and external systems
  • Ensure compliance with non-BAU protocols, recordkeeping guidelines, and operational control policies
  • Supervise staff work alالموقع, track activity logs, and maintain operational continuity in case of staff absence
  • Maintain accuracy of balance pools and reconciliation tools, including MT940/950 reject entries and binding records
  • Deliver process improvement suggestions to enhance efficiency and service quality
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 4-8 years of relevant banking experience with at least 5 years in reconciliation or core processing operations
  • Strong familiarity with SWIFT messages, Nostro accounting, inter-branch transactions, and reconciliation software (e.g., intelliMATCH)
  • In-depth understanding of operational risk, exception handling, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team supervision skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and risk awareness
