المسمى الوظيفي: Finance Intern

المنصب Summary The Finance Intern will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities, helping to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely reconciliation, and efficient processing of transactions. This role provides practical exposure to accounting processes, financial analysis, and internal controls, and is ideal for a student or recent graduate seeking hands‑on experience in a corporate finance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry into the accounting/ERP system (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and follow‑up on outstanding receivables.
  • Perform bank and interالشركة reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Help prepare month‑end closing tasks: journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and variance analyses for management.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling and reconciling data.
  • Participate in inventory checks and reconciliations (if applicable) and help investigate discrepancies.
  • Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Help maintain and improve internal control documentation and financial process workflows.
  • Conduct basic financial research and market checks as requested.
  • Support ad‑hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and comfort working with spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well‑organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
