Overview
    Phase Leader , Bachelor / masters degree (Attested certificates) Relevant Experience in the respective field / Equivalency Required. Minimum 3 + years of UAE experience Computer Skills Excellent English language proficiency required
Responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities: 1. Academic Quality Assurance:
      Develop, implement, and review academic quality improvement strategies and initiatives. Support the monitoring and evaluation of academic programs to ensure they meet institutional and accreditation standards. Assist in the design and review of course syllabi and academic policies to enhance student learning outcomes. Conduct audits and assessments of academic practices and teaching effectiveness. Compile and analyze data related to academic performance, student satisfaction, and feedback to inform quality improvement plans.
    2. Curriculum Development and Evaluation:
      Provide guidance and support to faculty in the development and updating of course materials and curricula to meet evolving academic standards. Facilitate periodic curriculum reviews, ensuring alignment with current educational trends, industry demands, and institutional objectives. Support faculty in integrating innovative teaching methodologies and technology into their courses to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
    3. Accreditation and Compliance:
      Support the institutions compliance with regional, national, and international accreditation standards. Coordinate internal and external accreditation processes, including preparing self-study reports, conducting internal reviews, and following up on recommendations for continuous improvement. Ensure the institution meets the requirements for regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies.
    4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
      Collect, analyze, and interpret academic data, such as student performance, retention rates, and graduation outcomes. Prepare reports on academic quality and present findings to senior leadership, including recommendations for improvements. Use data-driven insights to advise on program and course-level adjustments and enhancements.
    5. Faculty Development:
      Organize and deliver workshops, seminars, and training programs for faculty members to improve teaching and assessment methods. Encourage the adoption of best practices in pedagogy, assessment, and technology integration in the classroom. Provide individual coaching and mentoring to faculty on enhancing teaching effectiveness and academic performance.
    6. Student Support and Engagement:
      Collaborate with student services to ensure students have access to the support necessary for their academic success. Gather and analyze student feedback regarding course content, teaching quality, and learning resources. Assist in identifying barriers to student success and developing strategies to address them.
Skills Description
    Key Skills and Qualifications:
      Education and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in academic quality assurance, curriculum development, or educational leadership within an academic institution. Knowledge of accreditation standards and quality assurance frameworks in higher education (e.g., regional or national accreditation bodies). Skills: Strong understanding of academic policies, student assessment, and learning outcomes. Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies (qualitative and quantitative). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse academic teams and departments. Knowledge of educational technologies and innovative teaching strategies. Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing academic challenges. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to enhancing the quality of education. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Working Conditions:
      Office environment with occasional travel to academic sites or conferences. Regular interactions with faculty, students, and staff. Flexible work hours, including potential evenings or weekends for meetings and events.
