  • To maintain a positive can-do attitude at all times
  • Provide a positive, friendly, personal demeanor with a willingness to interact
  • Provide professional and friendly guest services
  • Coordinate with service team for specific arrangements regarding events, group bookings and any upcoming VIP guests
  • Answer incoming phone calls and guests queries as per the relevant outlet standard when required
  • Display knowledge about the Food and Beverage menu, promotions, and special events to sell guests appropriately
  • Coordinate with Reservations Manager for all the guests preferences
  • Maintain professional guest and public relations to maximize business
  • Commits self to the below listed Company values, and acknowledges dedication to always providing excellent guest service for our Guests and our internal team
Essential Functions of the position include, but are Not Limited to
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationship with new and existing clients
  • Execute the servicing of the clients by networking, socializing, and hosting
  • Target and confirm various groups for hosting events at Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen
  • Increase Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen Sales and Cabana/PDR sales
  • Target New External clientele to populate Studio Frantzen and Carbone Bar
  • Build guest loyalty by exceeding all expectations in service and dependability
  • Promotes the various events and supports the execution of them to ensure all guests are aware
  • Maintain pace with the monthly assigned GRM revenue goals and exceed achievements
  • Cross promotes all venues in ATR and other markets or venues within the scope of Kerzner Hospitality as needed
  • Facilitate and communicate all guest reservation requests promptly and without error
  • All VIP table reservations must be entered into our Seven Rooms platform including the guests full name, cell number, and email address (reservations without complete information will not be counted towards the minimum requirements and individual commissions will not be paid)
  • All assigned data collection, marketing, and social media tasks must be completed per managements requests
  • Review daily reports of targeted guests with the Reservations and Reception team
  • Assist and/or completes additional tasks as assigned
  • Liaise with support departments and senior management team when needed
  • My Supporting Functions
  • Sponsorship Opportunities & Joint Ventures - Responsible for recognizing opportunities for sponsorships and joint ventures in your respective location. Each lead must be submitted to the GM & Marketing Manager for consideration.
  • Attend VIP Events, concierge events, local gatherings, beach club & Night Club Events to analyze the VIP clientele and establish a connection whereby you can promote Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen.
  • Liaise with locals to identify key industry VIPs and establish a connection to promote Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen.
  • Work together with the in-house Concierge and VIP Team to connect with VIPS checking into the hotel in order to invite them to Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen.
  • Responsible for creating a concierge reward program and keeping track of the progress.
  • Establish a full list of luxury hotels in the area to visit and arrange for concierge visits to Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen to promote the venue. Create WhatsApp groups with each of the concierges for easy & direct bookings.
  • Establish a calendar of events in the region in which Carbone Cloud 22 & Studio Frantzen visibility could be highlighted.
  • Internal Communication
  • Remember that your biggest selling tools are the people who work for your hotel & outlet. The hostess, floor managers, waiters, Concierge, VIP Services, Front Office, have a direct contact with every single client that comes through Atlantis. Use this to your advantage and ensure that the team is always aware of the upcoming promotions, events, and other relevant details. You should always be present on the daily line-ups.
  • Hygiene, Safety and Security
  • Familiarize self with the company health and safety standards as well as the first aid, the fire and emergency procedures and ensure compliance, communication to team members and active enforcement
  • Comply with personal and work-related hygiene standards and processes
  • Rectify hazardous situations and report them promptly
  • Ensure security incidents are reviewed and corrective measures implemented to prevent recurring incidents
