ABOUT EDUKKO

Edukko (edukko.ae) is a Dubai-based EdTech platform connecting students, families, and schools with highly qualified tutors worldwide. Our World Languages Programme delivers live, personalised language sessions online across 10 languages, powered by a curated network of international educators called Edukkators.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are recruiting freelance language tutors to join our growing Edukkator network. Successful candidates will deliver live online lessons to students of varying ages and levels in one or more of our programme languages. This is a fully remote, flexible role — ideal for qualified teachers, native speakers, or language professionals seeking meaningful tutoring work.

LANGUAGES WE ARE RECRUITING FOR

• French
• Portuguese

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver 30-minute or 60-minute live online sessions via Zoom or Google Meet
• Adapt content to student level (beginner through advanced)
• Follow Edukko's structured curriculum and session guidelines
• Provide session notes and contribute to end-of-package student progress reports
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and student engagement at all times
• Communicate with the Edukko team via WhatsApp for scheduling and support

REQUIREMENTS

• Native or near-native fluency (C1–C2) in the target language
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, CELTA, DELF, or equivalent) — preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong verbal and written English for communication with the Edukko team
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional teaching environment
• Familiarity with Google Meet
