To work as part of the theatre team in providing quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist.

• Provide a high standard of care pre-, during and post-anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines and Operation Theatre standards.
• Ensure that the operation theatre and supplies are prepared and that all anaesthetic equipment is cleaned, sterilised and disinfected pre-operative and post-operative.
• Ensure that anaesthetic stock, medication and equipment are controlled.
• Ensure that patient records and documentation are maintained.
• Actively promote patient satisfaction.

• Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology from an accredited institution, college, or university.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as Anaesthesia Technician according to the UAE requirements.
• Licensed in الدولة of origin.
• Current and valid ACLS certification.
• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

At least 2 years’ experience as an Anaesthesia Technician in a hospital environment.

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Stock control principles and management.
