Retail Banking Tester

Job Overview:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Banking Tester (Automation is a plus) with 2-4 years of experience in banking domain testing. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our retail banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for retail banking applications.
• Perform functional and regression to ensure application reliability.
• Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers for resolution.
• Understand business requirements and provide meaningful feedback from a testing perspective.
• Report progress, issues, and results clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in retail banking application testing (web and mobile).
• Knowledge of internet and mobile banking platforms is essential.
• Familiarity with international payments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of retail banking processes and systems.
• Experience with manual testing techniques; exposure to automation is a plus.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and modern testing tools.
