MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

This Compliance, Safety and sustainability department operates in full compliance with national and international aviation regulations while maintaining the highest safety and sustainability standards. The department oversees compliance monitoring across operations and airworthiness, manages safety programmes and risk assessments, leads business continuity and emergency response planning, promotes occupational safety and employee well‑being, and drives aviation sustainability initiatives. The team safeguards operational integrity, enhances organisational resilience, and supports flydubai’s strategic and regulatory objectives.

About The Role

This 12‑week rotational internship programme is designed to give comprehensive exposure to the Safety department at flydubai. Work across critical safety functions including Airworthiness Safety, Environmental Affairs & Sustainability, Health and Safety, Business Continuity, Emergency Response, and Compliance. Develop practical expertise in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency management under the guidance of experienced safety professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist team members with ongoing tasks, projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
• Conduct basic research, data gathering and analysis to support departmental objectives.
• Prepare, update and maintain accurate documentation, reports, presentations and trackers.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions and briefings, and capture key actions or learnings when required.
• Follow all applicable الشركة policies, procedures, safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross‑functional stakeholders to support smooth workflow.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, time management and a strong willingness to learn.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle الشركة information responsibly at all times.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship outlining the department overview, key learnings and any new ideas, improvement opportunities and recommendations that could be considered for implementation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fluent in English.
• Systems knowledge in Microsoft Office/365.

ISR Requirements
