Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition People Practices

المنصب Overview:

The role focuses on resolving integration and interoperability challenges efficiently by collaborating with clinical, administrative, and IT teams while adhering to change management processes. It involves coordinating with the Head of Digital Engagement, Clinical Systems teams, and other department leaders to optimize data workflows, streamline interoperability, and enhance clinical and business system effectiveness.

Responsibilities include leading end‑to‑end integration projects, covering requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and implementation across systems like Cerner Millennium, Oracle ERP, Omnicell cabinets, Health Information Exchange platforms, and third‑party RCM systems.

The role also entails ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of interfaces to ensure system uptime and performance, resolving complex technical issues, and providing on‑call support to maintain critical hospital operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Integration Leadership & Standards Compliance: Develop, maintain, and optimize HL7, FHIR, and CCL‑based interfaces using integration engines (OpenView, OpenLink, Mirth Connect). Ensure all integrations meet healthcare data interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and comply with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • System & Data Management: Apply knowledge of Cerner Millennium data schema, SQL queries, and CCL reports to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. Leverage version control and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools to streamline deployment and maintain code quality.
  • Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for RPA and other automation tools to reduce manual data handling. Continuously monitor interface performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and optimize integrations to enhance scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams (clinical, operational, supply chain, finance) and external vendors, fostering strong vendor relationships and ensuring third‑party deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. Act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and align integration projects with organizational goals.
  • Project Management & Governance: Apply formal project management and governance methodologies to plan, execute, and oversee integration initiatives. Ensure each phase aligns with established timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead thorough testing protocols for new integrations, system upgrades, and enhancements. Validate functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all solutions meet clinical and operational requirements.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, integration diagrams, and best‑practice guidelines. Mentor junior team members, train super‑users, and promote knowledge‑sharing sessions to strengthen internal expertise and maintain a high‑quality talent pool.
Education & Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with HL7, CCL, and SQL in a healthcare integration setting. Demonstrated experience with FHIR, interoperability standards, and Cerner Millennium workflows.
Training & Knowledge
  • HL7 and FHIR certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration engines (OpenView, OpenLink, Mirth Connect) and iPaaS.
  • Knowledge of RPA/automation tools and version control/CI‑CD practices.
  • Strong project management and vendor management experience.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Awareness and understanding of KCH policies and KCH initiatives.
