Instructor – A&P – Aircraft Safety Mirage 2000-9

We currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as Instructor – A&P – Aircraft Safety Mirage 2000-9. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full reالموقع package for the successful candidate. The الشركة specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region, supporting a wide range of fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing aircraft including Black Hawks, Chinooks, Apaches and C130 Hercules.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Instructor will conduct and assist in the development of maintenance training programmes, deliver classroom and platform instruction, assess trainee performance, provide remedial training and maintain training records.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform instruction on aircraft maintenance fundamentals, safety, inspection, technical publications, aircraft systems and components, aviation regulations and other related topics.
  • Work with course developers, providing the necessary technical information and guidance.
  • Review, assist in the development of, and/or revise courses using the systems approach (SAT).
  • Prepare program syllabi detailing maintenance courses to produce employees qualified to perform aircraft maintenance.
  • Prepare classes in support of specific platform and other syllabi, catering to trainees with varying degrees of subject matter knowledge.
  • Conduct desired classroom and platform instruction as required, presenting material in a progressive and effective manner.
  • Perform intermediate and terminal assessments to determine learning progress, documenting each assessment for accountability and trend analysis.
  • Review assessment reports and course evaluations to amend training courses, ensuring effectiveness.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage the learning process.
  • Maintain trainee records and collaborate with other instructors.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping for all assigned areas.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Team lead or Manager.

About You
  • Hold a civilian aircraft maintenance licence or certificate, e.g., a Mechanical A&P certificate or B1 license, and an Instructional techniques / ‘Train‑the‑Trainer’ certificate or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in an aircraft maintenance discipline is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience teaching technical (maintenance) material with a related aircraft/engine/major component manufacturer, or within a military/civilian aircraft maintenance organization; OR minimum of two (2) years practical experience in the required discipline (A&P, Safety, Avionics) with demonstrated aptitude for instructing. Prior experience with military aviation units is preferred; knowledge of and experience with training methodologies and management using a systems approach (SAT) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient reading, writing and understanding of English; Arabic communication skills are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and the ability to lead by example.
  • Familiarity with aviation standards, specifications and regulations.
  • Charismatic and delegating attributes, and a collaborative approach to inter‑departmental work.
