IBM webMethods Integration Developer - Dicetek Dubai, UAE

The IBM webMethods Integration Developer - Dicetek Dubai will design, develop, and maintain integration solutions and APIs using the IBM webMethods suite. The role involves building REST and SOAP services, configuring API Gateway policies, implementing security controls, and optimizing performance to support enterprise integration requirements.

Core Duties
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using IBM webMethods components (API Gateway, Integration Server, Universal Messaging)
  • Build REST and SOAP APIs with proper versioning, policies, and security configurations
  • Develop custom services and flows using webMethods Designer (Flow and Java services)
  • Configure and manage webMethods API Gateway including throttling, logging, and analytics
  • Implement data transformations with XSLT, XSD, and webMethods transformation tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in integration flows, connectors, and endpoints
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for webMethods using Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket
  • Monitor API performance, optimize throughput, and provide post-deployment support
  • Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in scalability, security, and maintainability
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • Proven hands‑on experience with IBM webMethods suite (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging)
  • Strong skills in developing REST and SOAP APIs with security and policy enforcement
  • Experience with Flow services, Java services, and integration troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket) for automated deployments
  • Familiarity with API monitoring, analytics, and optimization techniques
  • Solid understanding of data transformation tools (XSLT, XSD) and XML/JSON standards
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with ability to work in cross‑functional teams
