• Well conversant in interpreting Fabrication drawings, study of engineering drawings to determine materials requirements and task sequences, operational methods or sequences.
• Should be able to interpret tolerance sheets and to mark the dimensions as per the drawings.
• Have knowledge of surface development and intersection of surfaces and layouts.
• Expertise in sub- assembly and assembly of fabricated components.
• Operation of equipment, including Welding m/c, grinding, drilling, Oxy-fuel cutting, Plasma cutting,
• Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Lay out marking and examine materiel to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Lifting or moving of fabricated Material using EOT cranes.
• Perform any other work assigned by immediate supervisor.
