Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement work plans and programs for conducting specialized research on historical buildings in the Emirate of Dubai, following approval.
• Define the general frameworks for research approaches, study methodologies, and appropriate means for obtaining the required information and data.
• Identify sources for collecting the necessary information and data, and coordinate with relevant entities such as government departments, museums, and libraries to obtain references and required documents.
• Conduct personal interviews with contemporary citizens and elderly individuals to gather information related to the study project from historical, heritage, and social perspectives.
• Carry out historical field surveys of historical building facilities to collect, record, and document data and information in accordance with approved scientific methods.
• Analyze information and data, prepare the required scientific studies, develop conclusions, findings, study results, and recommendations, and submit them to the direct supervisor.
• Prepare cultural programs, publications, and various cultural materials related to historical buildings in the Emirate of Dubai, in coordination with the concerned authority, with the aim of raising public awareness and guidance regarding heritage sites and their historical significance.
• Maintain and organize documents, recordings, written materials, and photographs related to the conducted research in a systematic manner to ensure easy reference when needed.
