• Implementing data management and statistical mechanisms according to best practices, systems, and governmental standards.
• Responsibilities include:
• Preparing and updating a reference database for statistics.
• Developing and applying a unified system and standards for statistics and collecting statistical data at the organizational level, classifying it, and establishing procedures and systems to ensure its accuracy and integrity.
• Developing statistical data models.
• Creating a comprehensive database for information and data related to the sports sector in the country, ensuring coordination with relevant departments and entities in accordance with best practices and available global programs.
• Providing consulting support to establish an electronic system for comprehensive data related to the sports sector, linked with relevant internal and external entities.
• Designing survey methodologies and survey tools.
• Preparing and reviewing error correction rules and forms correction procedures.
• Providing consulting and technical support for documentation, presentations, and inquiries.
• Offering necessary training for department employees.
• Preparing periodic work progress reports.
• Reviewing raw data and providing consulting support.
• Collaborating in coordination with work partners.
• Any other tasks assigned within the area of expertise.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements:

• Scientifically qualified and well-versed in international statistical systems, standards, and related protocols.
• Ability to manage statistical databases, ensuring their accuracy and integrity to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the statistical processes and systems within the General Authority for Statistics.
• Ability to identify data sources for each phase of the statistical work cycle and adopt the most appropriate methods and methodologies for implementation.
• Ability to propose, manage, and direct research and study projects related to statistical data to facilitate evidence-based decision-making for decision-makers.
• Knowledge and familiarity with the best global practices in managing data quality to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and comprehensiveness.
• Ability to identify opportunities and areas for continuous improvement in statistical products to serve the various needs of beneficiaries.
• Specialist in the field of statistics and database management.
• Proficient in using statistical software recommended by the organization.
• Full proficiency in Excel and data processing methods.
• Ability to manage statistical databases to maintain their accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to analyze complex statistical data and present key insights in analytical reports.
• 3 years of experience in the same field within governmental entities.
