Research Assistant

Job Description The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking a research assistant to work on a research grant funded by the UAEU on the creative and entrepreneurial activities of content creators in the UAE. The job responsibilities include: • Assisting in data collection through social media analysis and interviews with content creators. • Identifying and engaging with UAE-based content creators for research participation. • Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis and • Supporting in literature review and report writing. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension for an additional year based on performance. Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor degree or more in business, marketing, media studies, or a related field. • Experience with qualitative/quantitative research methods. • Knowledge of data mining tools (e.g., social media scraping) is a plus.

Preferred Qualification

• Have prior research experience related to content creators or digital entrepreneurs in the UAE (mandatory) • Be based in Al Ain, UAE (mandatory). • Have networks and connections with local social media creators (preferred). • Have familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and influencer marketing trends (preferred) • Strong analytical and communication skills.
