1. Regulatory Reporting & Compliance:
- CBUAE Reporting:
- Prepare and submit semi-annual reports, bi-annual reports, IEMS reports, and other regulatory filings required by CBUAE.
- Review, analyze, and respond to feedback from CBUAE on submitted reports, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain and update documentation to ensure all reports meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
2. Transaction Monitoring & Investigation:
- Transaction Monitoring:
- Conduct continuous monitoring of financial transactions to detect suspicious activity, fraud, or non-compliance with AML/CFT regulations.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and escalate cases as needed, preparing detailed Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) for submission to the relevant authorities.
- Ensure that all transaction monitoring systems are up to date, including conducting regular tests and improvements.
3. Client Onboarding & KYC/AML Compliance:
- Client Onboarding:
- Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring that all KYC requirements are properly completed and documented for new clients.
- Conduct thorough due diligence checks on clients, including background screening, source of funds, and risk profiling.
- Maintain accurate and complete client records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
4. Internal Audits & Risk Management:
- Internal Audits:
- Lead and assist in internal audits of compliance and operational processes to ensure adherence to CBUAE regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and submit audit reports, addressing findings and ensuring proper follow-up and remediation.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks, and work proactively to implement controls and mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular risk assessments and update senior management on risk levels and mitigation plans.
5. Compliance Monitoring & Support:
- Compliance Oversight:
- Collaborate with senior compliance staff to monitor and ensure that internal controls are in place and functioning as intended.
- Assist in maintaining an effective compliance framework across all operations.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters to internal departments, especially related to transaction monitoring, KYC, internal audits, and risk mitigation.
6. Regulatory Liaison & Reporting:
- CBUAE Communication:
- Act as a key liaison with the CBUAE for all compliance-related matters.
- Respond promptly to CBUAE queries and ensure smooth communication regarding reports, audits, and other regulatory matters.
7. Other Ad-Hoc Duties:
- Support the development of compliance training programs for staff.
- Stay current with CBUAE regulations, AML/CFT best practices, and relevant compliance trends.
- Assist with any other compliance-related tasks as requested by management.

Experience:
- Compliance in Exchange House: 3 years (Required)
Language:
- Arabic (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CAMS (Preferred)
