Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily records of inventory inflow and outflow.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department for replenishment.
  • Record and verify purchase invoices, delivery notes, and stock entries into the accounting system (ERP/Tally/SAP, etc.).
  • Handle all cashier duties:
  • Collect cash, cheque, and card payments from customers.
  • Issue official receipts for all transactions.
  • Deposit daily cash collections into the companys bank account.
  • Maintain petty cash and prepare reimbursement reports.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of cash, credit card, and bank deposits.
  • Process supplier invoices and arrange timely payments as per agreed terms.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly store financial reports, including:
  • Stock valuation reports
  • Daily sales reports
  • Cash flow statements
  • Ensure accurate VAT compliance for purchases and sales records.
  • Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams for smooth order processing and returns.
  • Handle refunds, credit notes, and customer account adjustments when necessary.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documents and reports.
  • Suggest improvements for store cash management and inventory controls.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting and cashier roles.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, cashier operations, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT law and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Ability to manage cash, perform reconciliations, and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Preferred:

  • Fluency in English (required); knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.
  • Male candidates are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
