SAP Consultant is responsible for Designing, Implementing and Supporting SAP solutions to meet and satisfy the demands of the business. Provide functional consulting within the GIT team and the user group. Combine functional expertise with business knowledge to provide directions to the business areas supported. The consultant works primarily in SAP ERP space. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problem to be solved with SAP.

• Provide customer support of SAP and other applications as required;
• Identify repeated issues and perform Root Cause analysis and Implement permanent resolutions.

• Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and suggest improvements and automation;
• Mapping of business requirements to standard functionalities in SAP and perform GAP analysis
• Perform SAP configuration work as needed;
• Perform Business Requirement analysis, documentation, configuration and testing to satisfy user requirements.

• Co-ordinate with SAP for timely resolution of system bugs and fixes.

• Train the end users on new enhancements or functionality as required;
• Assist IT Manager-Applications in Make or Buy decisions while evaluating solutions;
• Adopt ISO policies and procedures.

• Bachelor degree in any discipline. B.E computer science preferred

• Minimum 7 years in SAP ERP
• Good experience in providing Application Support. Should be aware of IT application support management;

• Should have good Business Analysis skills;
• Ability to keep updated with latest technology;
• Should be aware of PMI project management methodology;
• Strong English communication (written and spoken) skills;
• Abilities to work with others at all levels;
• Self-motivated and pro-active;
• Should be well versed in one or more of the following modules of SAP. He / She should have implemented and configured several core processes in these modules: SAP FICO; SAP FICO; SAP REFX; SAP MM; SAP SD; SAP Business Objects; SAP PM; SAP ETM; SAP PS; SAP HCM; SAP Success Factors.Ability to work with others at all levels.
