Speech Therapist

Friendly Early Childhood Center in Dubai is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified female Russian-speaking Speech Therapist to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. About the Role

As a Speech Therapist at our center, you will play a vital role in supporting children with speech and language challenges - helping them build effective communication skills and confidence. Your work will directly contribute to their social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing early years setting.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Fluency in Russian (essential)
• Experience in paediatric speech therapy is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of child development and diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with SEND legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with young children
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, nurses, parents, and external professionals

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
• Evaluate childrens communication abilities (articulation, comprehension, fluency, voice)
• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each childs needs
• Conduct therapy through one-to-one sessions, small groups, or in-class support
• Use play-based and age-appropriate tools such as games, stories, and visual aids
• Educate and support parents, caregivers, and staff with practical techniques
• Collaborate with professionals (e.g., pediatricians, SENCo, educators) for holistic care
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans to ensure effective outcomes
• Prepare progress reports and liaise with relevant stakeholders when needed
