Job Description:We are hiring a skilled Mechanical Foreman to lead mechanical fitting teams in ship repair operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise engine and equipment overhauling
- Build, develops and manages mechanical team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives.
- Lead and manage the mechanical team, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in marine industry
- a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Fitter (or other relevant trade)
- Team leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
