Mode of working: Hybrid—3 days a week from office.

Experience: 6 to 8 years.

Mareana is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong data analytics background in the Supply Chain Domain and a willingness to learn new technologies. The role involves developing and enhancing Mareana’s products in supply chain, manufacturing, and unstructured data.

• Work with customers/SME to understand business processes and brainstorm functional solutions.
• Discuss with domain SMEs and formulate solutions to complex requirements.
• Produce high‑level and detailed designs, including data models, API specifications, wireframes, etc.
• Conceptualize and define end‑to‑end solutions for given business and functional domains.
• Collaborate with the development team of customers/SME to implement solutions, guiding junior developers with creative logic.
• Create test scripts, conduct functional testing, generate results, and ensure development meets expectations.
• Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
• Develop sprint delivery plans with task timelines and milestones aligned with business outcomes.
• Present project KPIs in the prescribed format during internal weekly calls.
• Attend daily meetings with clients, present status, discuss requirements, challenges, and manage situations.
• Serve as the single source of contact for business requirements for the delivery team.
• Prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple tasks while meeting timelines and maintaining quality.
• Operate in a distributed team environment across multiple time zones.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Functional experience in SAP/JDE within supply‑chain, production, procurement, sales, and distribution.
• Knowledge of the tables used in SAP/JDE and how they can be joined to meet reporting requirements.
• Adept at understanding and analyzing supply‑chain data and familiarity with at least one ERP system (SAP or JDE).
• Hands‑on SQL data analysis skills.
• Excellent client‑facing and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to drive and implement structured solutions.
• Self‑directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources.
• Knowledge of integration/import and export data.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Jira—decompose processes into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and manage product backlog.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences at various levels.
• Strong documentation skills.

• E2E implementation experience in SAP (production, procurement, sales, and distribution modules).
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Test case creation and execution experience in HP‑ALM or similar tools.
• Experience in the Consumer, Pharma, or Life‑Sciences industries.
• Basic familiarity with technical code such as ABAP or Python.
