Experiences Supervisor - Six Senses The Palm Dubai

As an Experience Supervisor, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, along with our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness. By embracing the Six Senses vision and values, I will deliver an exceptional experience for guests and develop hosts to be the very best they can be.

I will work strategically with the Guest Experience and Front Office teams to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures and guidelines to achieve them. I will support overall consistency of the الشركة's vision, quality and standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.

Scope of Work
  • Connect with guests so that their stays are filled with exciting and engaging activities.
  • Oversee third party watersport providers, ensuring they operate within Six Senses approved brand standards.
  • Upsell crafted experiences, watersport activities, daily resort activities, and other الشركة approved excursions external to the resort.
  • Document, organize, and bill all experiences as per الشركة policy, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Develop relationships with experience providers with the aim of consolidating direct contracts.
  • Create and highlight Six Senses Crafted Experiences that showcase local heritage, history, ecology, and wellness within the UAE in correlation with our brand Pillars.
  • Anticipate guest needs and expectations, curating Out of the Ordinary moments to ensure a positive, unforgettable stay.
  • Create and maintain the quality of all experience related collateral, ensuring up to date experience books, Okami, and other communication channels.
  • Effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so in the event of guest complaints.
  • Take ownership of the financial health of the experiences department.
  • Be responsible for the physical inventory of the experiences department.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
  • Adhere strictly to LQA standards.
  • Ensure all activities undertaken by the department are ethical and align with Six Senses sustainability and wellness standards.
Qualifications

I possess the equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business Administration, and more than three years of experience in a similar luxury hotel role with proven results. I also bring multi departmental experience.

Technical skills include moderate fluency with Opera and the Microsoft Office Suite. I have excellent written and spoken English, and some knowledge of local language and customs.

I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses guidelines, rules, regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
