Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in overseeing electrical work within the construction MEP sector. The role involves supervising electrical installations, ensuring the safety and quality of electrical systems, and providing technical support to the engineering team on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local codes.
• Lead and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely.
• Conduct inspections of electrical work to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule electrical activities, ensuring timely completion of electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that all materials and tools required for electrical work are available and properly utilized.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for electrical work completed, including reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
• Collaborate with other site supervisors and project managers to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other construction components.
• Monitor electrical systems performance and ensure they are functional upon project handover.
• Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for the electrical team.
• Provide technical support and guidance on electrical design, installation methods, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical supervision within the MEP construction industry.
• Certifications: Equivalency Certificate recognized in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and local codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex electrical issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in using electrical design and reporting software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-rise tower, luxury villa, or large residential projects.
• Familiarity with advanced electrical systems and innovative electrical technologies.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
